Externs
1. Daily rounds in association with the academic staff of the
ward (Voluntarily)
7:30 - 8:30 AM
2. Daily theoretical classes about the essential subjects 8:30
- 9:30 AM
3. Weekly journal club classes (every Monday) 7:30 - 8:30 AM
4. Weekly Grand rounds (every Wednesday) 7:30 - 8:30 AM
5. Daily outpatient clinical examination and essential
therapies at the primary care level in the outpatient clinics
of the department 9:30 - 12:00 AM
Interns
1. Daily rounds in association with the academic staff of the
ward
7:30 - 8:30 AM
2. Daily theoretical classes about the essential subjects

7. Observation of the primary procedures in the ORL & HNS at
the operating room (Voluntarily) Mornings
8. Clinical examination and basic emergency procedures at the
emergency department of the hospital (These services are
delivered in a 24-hour period) Mornings, evenings and nights
